There has been another faff this week about Instagram and algorithms and alternatives. It just consolidates for me what I don’t like about it. Being at the whim of someone else’s strategy….Being the product. I don’t like it.

I’ve been toying with doing this more regularly for ages. I love the connections I have made on Instagram but maybe I can keep this up a different way. Newsletters that I send out to people who want to read them, and this blog which can feature my work in progress.

The censorship has also been getting me down. I don’t think my work is ‘about’ censorship, but it becomes that by default if I experience shaddow-banning, or just run the risk of having my account taken down entirely.

So if I keep this up regularly, would you read it?
